Huw welcomes new green initiatives

Huw Merriman, MP for the Bexhill and Battle constituency, has welcomed the Government’s £3 billion green investment package to drive forward green home improvements, decarbonise buildings and create thousands of jobs as part of their drive to kickstart the economic recovery.

Huw supports ban of inshore trawling in Sussex Waters

I have worked with the Marine Conservation Society, local angling groups, the Sussex Wildlife Trust and the Sussex Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority over the past two years to achieve the Beachy Head East Marine Conservation Zone which covers our coastline from Beachy Head to Hastings.
