Ofgem have lots of help and advice for households, including how to make a complaint about your energy supplier, and what to do if you can’t afford your energy bills. All this information can be found here

For further help or guidance regarding energy bills I would recommend contacting Citizens Advice, the statutory consumer body for energy consumers in Great Britain. It is a government funded advice service that can provide help and guidance on a range of energy consumer issues. Their website contains useful advice on common consumer issues and can be accessed here:

Christians Against Poverty provides free debt help and local community groups across the UK. Their free services, run with local churches can be accessed here

the Household Support Fund provides extra support to those in need. Local access to the fund via the East Sussex district and borough council can be found here

Turn2Us benefit checker allow you to discover what benefits, grants and other schemes may be available to you through their Benefits Calculator and Grant Search. All this can accessed here
