Huw was given a tour of the new school, housing and village hall which is being delivered in Etchingham. Conservative-run East Sussex County Council has teamed up with the Church of England, Etchingham Parish Council and Millwood Homes to deliver a new primary and pre-school, a new village hall and community facilities and a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes for sale and shared ownership.
Huw joined Parish, District and County Councillors to view the new school and village hall and also met residents who will soon be handed the keys for their new homes. Huw said “This development at Parsonage Croft, is a great example of the private and public sector working in partnership to deliver new homes to local families and a state-of-the-art new school and village hall to the community. This is the type of exciting development I would like other villages to benefit from in Bexhill and Battle constituency”.
