This is a one-off oral evidence session examined the use, regulation and environmental effects of Jet Skis.
The session looked into what effect the responsible and irresponsible use of Jet Skis has on the marine environment and people, including other water users and local residents; whether regulation by local authorities is effective in tackling the potential downsides of Jet Ski usage; if the deleterious effects of Jet Skis are sufficient to require national regulation in statute law; and how such a law might work in practice.
